Reviews and Ratings
The Sanderling Resort offers a beautiful setting with clean, comfortable accommodations and a great beach right at your doorstep. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. However, the dining experience could use significant improvement, as service was often slow and inattentive. Overall, if dining isn’t your top priority, this hotel provides fantastic relaxation and family-friendly amenities.
We had an overall mixed experience at the Sanderling Resort. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. While we found the service to be friendly and accommodating, the rooms left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and comfort considering the price. The dining options were great, making it convenient for family meals, but the cleanliness of the facilities needs improvement.
My stay at Sanderling Resort was almost perfect. The location was fantastic, with the beach just a stone's throw away, and I loved my spacious room with a beautiful view. Although the amenities were great, there were some issues with service that left a bit to be desired. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I'm looking forward to returning with hopes for improved service.
My stay at the Sanderling was quite disappointing, especially for the price we paid. The resort has a beautiful setting on a barrier island, but it felt neglected with a lack of cleanliness and management. Our room had some issues, and the midges made our balcony unusable. On the brighter side, the food at the Lifesaving Station was genuinely enjoyable, and the pool area was nice. However, I expected much more for the price we paid.
I had a wonderful time at this gorgeous property. The adult-only pool was a big plus for my partner and me, making for a peaceful escape. The beach and overall grounds were impeccably maintained, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Although it is a bit pricey, every aspect of our stay—from the rooms to the attentive service—made it worth it.
